DUTIES OF A Governor
ASSISTING PARENTS WITH THE UPBRINGING OF THEIR CHILDREN
PROMOTING COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN
A Governor will accompany your children to extra-curricular activities as well as organise fun, educational and interesting outings.
A Governor is well educated, presented and spoken and promotes awareness of good manners, etiquette and the importance good behaviour.
The Governor focuses on the upbringing of your child and their education, rather than nursery duties, and will often support areas such as music, arts or sports. She will also implement a structure and plan into your child’s life, in order to accelerate the pace at which they are able to become bilingual.
A Governor creates an enjoyable and stimulating environment for your child to gain confidence in their own abilities through play and structured lessons. There is also a real focus on etiquette, manners, discipline and culture. Governors are educated with a university education and additional qualifications in other areas.
Governors enjoy both aspects of childcare and tutoring. Families often hire governors for their son(s) so that they have somebody to connect with as a buddy/mentor and engage in academic, sporting, artistic and musical activities with somebody they feel comfortable with and whom they can learn English as a second language from.
The tutor is an indispensable mentor for your girl. He helps her become confident and tender.
